PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

Dear Members and Visitors,
Welcome to the official website of the Raichur District Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RDCCI). I am honored to serve as the President of this remarkable organization, and I extend my warmest greetings to all of you.
Our chamber has a long-standing tradition of actively shaping the growth and development of Raichur District. Over the years, we have played a pivotal role in advocating for the betterment of our region. Here are some key highlights of our past and recent endeavors:
- Preserving Our Boundaries: RDCCI played a crucial role in ensuring that Sindhanur Taluk remained an integral part of Raichur during the district’s bifurcation. This achievement reflects our commitment to safeguarding the interests of our community.
- Restoring Connectivity: We successfully advocated for the reinstatement of the Rajdhani Train’s route through Raichur. This move not only enhances our connectivity but also underscores our chamber’s dedication to the welfare of our citizens.
- Enhancing Commuting: RDCCI has actively promoted the Link Express, an independent train service that greatly benefits the citizens of Raichur commuting to Bangalore, facilitating easier travel and connectivity.
- Affordable Energy: Recognizing the concerns of our members, RDCCI has taken up the issue of abnormal increases in electricity charges. We have initiated legal action and filed an appeal with the APTEL (Appellate Tribunal For Electricity, Delhi) to ensure fair and reasonable electricity rates for our industries.
- Local Advocacy: In addition to larger issues, RDCCI has been a relentless advocate for local concerns affecting our trade. We have championed causes such as improving basic facilities in industrial areas and the city, securing additional land for industrial purposes, commencing work on the airport, and supporting projects like the Sindhnoor to Raichur Railway Line, dedicated waterlines to Gadwal Road and Manchalapur Road, development of the Growth Centre in the Industrial Area, establishment of a Common Effluent Treatment Plant, and the relocation of the Goods Shed.
I would like to express my profound gratitude to our esteemed founder members, past presidents, and all life members of RDCCI. Their unwavering dedication and tireless efforts have been instrumental in protecting and promoting the interests of Raichur District. Their legacy continues to inspire us, and we are committed to upholding the high standards they have set.
As we look ahead, our commitment to advancing the interests of Raichur and its business community remains steadfast. This website serves as a valuable resource, providing information on our ongoing activities, events, and news relevant to your business and the region.
